The Illinois chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon has had a short, yet impactful, presence here on the campus of Northern Illinois University. We started out with only one member and a vision, and this quickly grew into four members by the Fall 2021 semester. These members laid down the foundation for a strong chapter by stepping into executive positions, attending leadership conferences, and opening up the Balanced Man Scholarship to the students of NIU. This scholarship is what launched the chapter into its next stage of development. From this we gained new members, and we ended the Spring 2022 semester with seven members total. Over the past two semesters, the chapter received recognition for the highest GPA out of all the IFC chapters in Fall 2021 and one of our members was one of the three recipients of the Balanced Man Scholarship. In addition, our members focus upholding SigEp's values of diligence, virtue, and brotherly love. Through recreation, community service, and so many more activities we look forward in continuing to grow and prosper these upcoming semesters.
